On the last transformation step from the power station to the consumer, distribution transformers (DT) provide the necessary power for systems and buildings.
Accordingly, the operations must be reliable, efficient and, at the same time, silent. Distribution transformers are used to convert electrical energy of higher voltage, usually up to 36 KV, to a lower voltage, usually 250 or 435 V, with an identical frequency before and after the transformation. Application of the product is mainly within suburban areas, public supply authorities and industrial customers.
Distribution transformers are usually the last item in the chain of electrical energy supply to households and industrial enterprises.

In less than a day, our experts can detect the slightest partial discharge, warning you of the deterioration of the insulation of HV equipment ahead of time. This service allows you to identify problems; it also recognizes the spectral "signature" of your substation, a powerful tool for monitoring the degree of aging for the life cycle management.
INSPECTION OF ENERGIZED SURGE-ARRESTOR
The surge arrestor is an essential protection piece of your transformers. Our metal oxide HV arresters inspection service is performed with the arrester in live operation (no disturbance of power distribution). Within 15 minutes, our experts check the condition of your arresters to ensure that your transformers are always properly protected. Well-proven and acknowledged monitoring technique using third-order harmonic analysis with compensation. Rated according IEC 60099-5 as the best field monitoring technique for Metal Oxide Surge Arresters (MOSA). LCM500 records operating voltage and temperature during field measurements. The LCM500 measurements are automatically normalized to standard ambient temperature (+20°C) and 0.7x rated arrester voltage based on recorded temperature and operating voltage during field measurement. Measurements performed under different conditions can thereby easily be compared.
